Friday leadership shifted from CBS to ABC, with ABC’s combination of
theatrical The Polar Express (Viewers: #1, 13.25 million, A18-49: #1,
4.1 rating/12 share from 8-10 p.m.) and 20/20 (Viewers: #2, 9.32

viewers and adults 18-49. The next time you hear that movies are dead
on the broadcast networks, this is an example of why that is just not

NBC finished a comfortable second for the evening as a result of 1 vs.
100 (Viewers: #2, 9.23 million, A18-49: #2, 2.8/ 9) and a two-hour
edition of Las Vegas (Viewers: 10.25 million, A18-49: 3.2/10 from 9-11
p.m.), which built in every half-hour. Las Vegas track:

CBS fell into the distant No. 3 spot with two-hour special Ice Wars
2006: USA vs. the World (in place of the regularly scheduled Ghost
Whisperer and Close To Home) at a disappointing 6.17 million viewers
(#3) and a 1.3/ 4 among adults 18-49 (#5) from 8-10 p.m., followed by
a repeat of Numb3rs at a third-place finish in total viewers (7.32
million) and adults 18-49 (1.3/ 4) at 10 p.m.

Fox opened with the evening with the relocated Justice (Viewers: #5,
4.29 million; A18-49: #4t, 1.4/ 5) followed by the lackluster Trading
Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy (Viewers: #5, 3.70 million; A18-49: #4,
1.5/ 4) at 9 p.m. For fans of Justice hoping for a reprieve, that is
not going to happen after these results.

The CW’s reliable Friday Night Smackdown! finished fourth in total
viewers (4.71 million viewers) and last among adults 18-49 (1.4/ 4)
for the evening.

What did they expect?  I did not see a single promo for this. I even
forgot about it and had to scramble to find someone to tape it for me
as I was not going to be back home in time.

It looked like FOX didn't even know this was going to air, during one
of Justice's ad breaks they aired one of thier Vanished cell phone
tie-in spots.
