Is Kevin Trudeau the most gorgeous man on television?

I think he is. He's a little older now, and his hair is a little
grey, but he's still got those incredibly handsome looks. Can you
imagine what this guy looked like when he was 20? Must have been
stunning, drop dead gorgeous.

Here is the photo of the man behind the web site
http://www.quackwatch.com/index.html. He often attacks various health
products and practices by making false claims about them, as if those claims
came FROM them, and then knocks down these straw men of his own device.
One of the most evil people on the web is a former psychiatrist who lashes
out against just about every possible alternative health product or
practice. It is, in fact, a hall of fame. If you are mentioned in his
pages you can assume you are doing a good job!
He attacks chelation therapy, of course, but he selects a "straw man" to
attack. In other words, the early explanation of how chelation therapy
works is well proven to be false, even though many people are still
repeating those lies. But, the more thoughtful intravenous doctors have
discarded this early theory and gone on to the second theory, mentioned on
another page (Click Here).
After EDTA was found effective in chelating and removing toxic metals from
the blood, some scientists postulated that hardened arteries could be
softened if the calcium in their walls was removed. The first indication
that EDTA treatment might benefit patients with atherosclerosis came from
Clarke, Clarke, and Mosher, who, in 1956, reported that patients with
occlusive peripheral vascular disease said they felt better after treatment

Sometimes, though, it's what a person talks about while avoiding the
details that gets them into trouble. His battle with the FTC is proof
that his media campaign highlighting corruption in the drug industry
was causing a someone a problem. In my view, he's got the advantage in
terms of media clout, even if his motives are completely self serving.
If he manages to further popularize the use of natural medicine, which
I believe is the case, I see that as a positive.

Of the people I know in the industry, they distance themselves because of
his journalistic approach. Most think that he PURPOSELY tries to create a
borderline situation with the FTC, wherein even if he loses, he PROFITS. It
does not serve the use of natural solutions except to the simple, just like
any other politics. Those who follow him actually have nothing to follow.

It's amusing to see your team work this hard to discredit someone you
think is such a threat to your business model. The real threat,
however, is the body of scientific data coming out of the life
sciences, independent study unconflicted by product manufacturers
(ie., drug makers), and the migration out of victim-oriented
healthcare. Trudeau is just a guy running in the back of the pack who

Overheard in a drug store yesterday.
Customer asked Aid if the prescription caused "tiredness".
Response by pharmacist to Aid. "No mention of tiredness in the list of
effects, just dizziness". Aid to customer at drive through window, "No
tiredness".
I asked if dizziness wasn't worse than tiredness and the response was "He
didn't ask and besides that there is a complete list of effect given with

I asked why she didn't tell the customer anyway. "I'm not allowed to give

Either that he's smart enough to know that a speed limit designed for cars
engineered in 1960 is outdated or he lives in Montana.

Mark
In the 1960's there were several states, Montana being one of them, that
had R&P as the speed limit. Some interstates had limits of 70 and 75.

However, that was when traffic was far less than it is today, and the
combination of traffic and speeding is deadly.

When California wasn't controlled by socialism, the freeways were not
posted. Safe and reasonable was the rule. Safe included NOT to be going
slow enough to have someone pass you on the right AND could include going
30 mph in a rainy crowded situation. They had THE LOWEST accident rate of
any state. THEN the "government" (socialism) took over. Now they approach
the worst.

"traffic" and "speeding" are relative terms until the government gets
involved.

Oh yes I almost forgot the rule where you could get a ticket and fined
heavily for reckless driving by changing lanes on the freeway more often
than twice in a 1/4 mile. (weaving)

Victor
Traffic on the interstates sure doesn't feel any more congested than it did
twenty years ago but then I'm usually driving between Colorado and Illinois.
If I don't average 85 mph (pitstops not included), I'll go insane. I would,
however, bet that CA and New England have different interstate experiences.

When I was a kid, we used to turn songs into bawdy ones by adding the
phrase after appropriate lines.

The BEST song was by Paul Anka:

LONELY BOY - John Holt

I'm just a lonely boy, lonely and blue "Under the sheets"
I'm all alone with nothing to do "Under the sheets"
That every thing you good thing come "Under the sheets"
All I want is someone to love "Under the sheets"
Someone to love, someone to kiss "Under the sheets"
Someone to hold at a moment like this "Under the sheets"
I'd like to hear somebody say
I'll give you my love each night and day "Under the sheets"

I'm just a lonely boy, lonely and blue
I'm all alone with nothing to do
Somebody please send her to me
I'll make her happy, just wait and see
I praise so hard to the heavens above
That I mad whine someone to love

I'm just a lonely boy, lonely and blue
I'm all alone with nothing to do
That every thing you good thing come
All I want is someone to love
Someone to love, someone to kiss
Someone to hold at a moment like this
I'd like to hear somebody say
I'll give you my love each night and day

Oh baby
I beg you for your love
Oh please, please, please, give your love
I need it bad
Oh please, please, give your love

Most crooked on T.V.?
Maybe T.V. would be better classified (especially in the health world) if we
put him near the bottom rather than the top.

He's just an apologist. He came here to advertize for that crook, and
by god that's what he's gonna do, no matter how many people in here

because he'll never give up, ever.

Not an apologist by any stretch.

Original Statement : worst
Response : really bad, but difficult to classify "worst"
Why? : There are so many really bad infomercials that it is difficult to
classify.
Least of the worst : near the bottom.
Context : worst
Classification : group worst

Statement : Sheep manure is the worst smelling thing there is.
Response : worse than human manure?
Question : Which is better?

Oh well, It's been fun conversing with literal neophytes.

You're calling us literal, while you're the one bickering about whether
he's the worst, or merely one of the really bad ones? Who cares whether
he's the worst, or merely really bad? The fact is that he's an
egregious villain.

Perhaps you'd care to list the real life tv villains who are worse, and
rank them in order, with an unarguable numerical measure to justfy your
ranking. Why don't you back up your quibbling with some hard data?

We just think that he's evil, and that's the end of it. In this venue,
degrees of evil are less important.

Yes, exactly. Singular mark on multiple exams in multiple states in
multiple years. That could be as few as two tests, or dozens of tests,
but it's certainly not one test. And if he speaks American English, he
wouldn't be saying "for University entrance." Same notation for "at
Freshman AND Junior years." Come to think of it, he wouldn't be saying
"I made a perfect mark" either, no matter how many tests there were.

You have to cut Vernon some slack. His brain must be showing some wear

manufacturing systems at Intel, advising Exxon (or some other very
large oil company) where to dig for oil, and consulting with doctors

That is not a sentence, and the semi-colon is again incorrectly used.

Finally, a proper sentence, but there is no need to use proper nouns
for "physician" and "professor" and some would argue that the correct
usage would be "physician- or professor-written". (Note to Vernon -
the word "proper" in that sentence is used in two different senses.)

I don't think it's English as a second language; I think it's just
lack of education. (Note to Vernon - Do you see how a semi-colon is

No, just liars, paid or not.
Many medical Doctors and Pharma sales people have to justify their lies (or
really ignorance) , so rather than being constructive about the reality of
alternatives (Actually used by most in the medical field), they lie, flat
out lie.

The very best Doctors know that they are very ignorant of many things and
are constantly looking for new information, whether from a pharma or not.
The worst of Doctors think they know everything because they have a piece of
paper on the wall.

You may be right he would stand to gain either way, as long as he
avoids prosecution. It's also true, however, that his message is *for*
the simple minded, which is a lot of people. For them, Trudeau is the
health activist of the century. I find him unbearable to listen to,
even worse than Bob Barefoot. But he does provide the germ of truth
that alternatives exist, and that, in my opinion, is more important
than his personal motives.

My main point is that it is difficult enough to get the truth out without an
opportunist.
It's the same in the general medical field. the con artists in the pharm
field ruin it for the real advances to the point, as we constantly see here,
that the companies who really have something to offer are afraid to step
out.

a band wagon and has to come up with something to say every week.

His "alternatives" are either (a) Not backed by scientific
study/evidence of their usefulness. Or (b) flat wrong. THAT'S why the
FTC sued him: Because he's selling the equivalent of water labeled as
cure. He's selling stuff w/o any evidence that it works.

BTW, his book doesn't reveal anything.
It just says, "Go to my website to learn more."
Anyone know the address of that website?

You are what others CLAIM he is but he is not.

*I* am a scam artist? Funny. I don't sell a 1 million check every
week from my Book Sales. I don't charge $500 to access my website.

How am I in any way a scam artist? Go read www.worldwidescam.com and
LEARN about these men. They are all thieves, and you are a gullible
idiot to believe their lies.

Like I said and which you just proved.

YOU are the scam artist (and liar) and pissed that you haven't made any
money because you are way too stupid.
You have no clue of the details of the FTC claim.
You don't have the education or intelligence to understand it.
You ONLY know that YOU must publicly spew hate to satisfy your sexual
desires.

I earned over $100,000 last year. Almost 110,000 this year. I don't
need to give it away to scam artists like Trudeau.

Which ones are you referring to? Several were discussed here before
the holidays, and in each case, there was some scientific support for
them, though curiously those references were not included in the book
(and should have been.)

Again, be specific. Which ones were "flat wrong."

How do you sell sunshine, or a low-carb diet? Were there particular
supplements you thought were an issue?

You obviously didn't read the book. I agree it's not a very good book,
but that's not a crime. I would guess that he covered about fifty
different alternative healing approaches, everything from diet to
natural lighting to a few folk remedies. I admittedly read only a
third of it. But how does a 572 page book say nothing but "Go to my
website to learn more?"

fred_h_haddadyahoocom
Yeah. ALL of them. They don't work, and study shows they dod NOTHING
to help the human body.

Yes I have. He repeats his "The FCC and corporations are in collusion"
story about 50 times (padding the pages). He then says obvious things
like "eat fewer calories" which I already knew. And when he mentions
something I don't know, he doesn't reveal the secret. Instead he
points to his website, where you have to pay 500-freakin'-dollars to
access said secret. (I thought he said his goal is to NOT get rich?
So, why's he charging 500 dollars? Websites don't cost that much
money.)

Don't fall for Kevin Trudeau.

He's nothing more than a scam artist. www.worldwidescam.com will
provide more info about Trudeau, and other men of the Thieves' Guild.

You are a liar

Trudeau is just making money.

You should be sued and spend some jail time for your lying and stupid hate.

Come and get me. I welcome your challenge in court. I'll be more than
happy to countersuit you & drive you into bankruptcy.

Read your posts. PROOF.

And there we go again, sue, court, money
sue, court, money

Truth matters not.

Who is the clown that actually creates a web site of garbage?
Probably some pervert or out of work lawyer.

Actually I work with a couple groups of traditional Doctors from family to
Oncologists to Internists to Cardiologists to Electrophysiologists.

You are probably on the dole unless you are collecting from a few bogus law
suits.

Mr. Haddad is very gainfully employed.

"Gainfully", a very descriptive term.

Yes, in a real job.

A simple minded site by someone filled with hate and looking to get rich
through another door.

AIMED at the simple and debased mentality.

I already knew he was a crook and a fraud, but I couldn't help myself
from looking at his book in the bookstore yesterday. The most telling
thing to me, based on the fact that he is making all kinds of brash
statements about the dangers of medicine, the secrets "they" don't want
known, the miracles of natural cures, etc., is that his book didn't
have a bibliography. Not even an index!

No way whatsoever to fact-check the claims in his book. *BUT*...he's
happy to sell books to gullible people on the assumption that if
they're dumb enough to believe even half of what he says, they're also
too dumb to look into what he says and see if it's true.

And to think: this guy is probably a millionaire many times over. Who
says crime doesn't pay?
