Adam 03 Jun 2008 s p o i l e r s p a c e In previous messages, I said that Marshall Marshall was her father. No, Marshall Marshall is her partner, Fred Weller. Mary McCormack, attractive, isn't particularly alluring on screen. She's not flirtatious with her partner nor suspects. She and Weller have no chemistry, but that's mostly the script. The dialogue is simply dreadful. Ok, Elmore Leonard is not owed a licensing fee. He should be very greatful this in no way resemble _Out of Sight_. Karen Sisco she ain't. It had a few amusing moments. Weller, who acts like a twit, knows foreign languages and sign language. Paul Ben-Victor, a gifted comic actor (so what's he doing in this dreck) managed to steal several of the scenes he was in despite the horrid script. She's saddled with a vile sister and mother and a milqtoast boyfriend. It had a plot... but who cares. I guessed wrong about the murderer; it wasn't really all that intriguing.
